Best Mother's Day Ever!

Happy Mother's Day to all moms! Of course it was the best Mother's Day for me because it was my first Mother's Day as a mom!

We had a Mother's Day weekend. We spent most of the day on Saturday at the David's parent's celebrating Mother's Day with David's mom. Sunday morning, Micah gave me my Mother's Day present by sleeping until 8! He is so thoughtful at such a young age. :-) Then, David let me sleep even later by getting up and taking care of the munchkin. My 2 boys came in around 9:30 to wish me a happy Mother's Day. My super thoughtful and creative hubby started a gift that he wants our kids to add to each year for Mother's Day. On the front it says "why we love mommy" and then on the inside, he wrote me a letter from Micah and there is a picture of me and Micah. Each year there is room for a new letter. So, 20 years from now, I will have 20 years of Mother's Day letters from our kids! I am so blessed to have an amazing family that loves me and shows me every day!

Sunday afternoon, we met the my family at a cute little restaurant in town for an early dinner. Micah had a great time, even though he seems upset in the picture.

It was a wonderful first Mother's Day and I feel so blessed to be a mom!
