He has also discovered that he likes to cuddle with things (blankies, rattles, etc). I caught him on camera before his nap this afternoon cuddling with his zebra blankie. Maybe this one will be "the" blankie. We'll see...

How did you do that?
Well, it's that time of summer where the grandma's go to Steamboat for weeks at a time (if I sound jealous, it's because I am). So, I promised that I would update the blog often with lots of pictures. I couldn't pass up this opportunity. Micah had a hard time settling down for his nap this morning, I am guessing because he wasn't swaddled. Our pediatrician said it is time to start "weaning him off the swaddle". I decided to let him go "cold turkey". He wasn't pleased. He finally settled down and went to sleep around 9:30 (an hour later than usual) on his back (just as I always put him down). I went in to check on him around noon (because he is usually awake by 11) and this is what I found...
How did he do that? He isn't rolling over yet, so I thought. He was just sound asleep on his tummy! I guess somehow, he has figured out how to roll his big body over. Now the trick will be for him to do it while I am watching.
He has also discovered that he likes to cuddle with things (blankies, rattles, etc). I caught him on camera before his nap this afternoon cuddling with his zebra blankie. Maybe this one will be "the" blankie. We'll see...
