Like father, like son...

Today I was determined to buy Micah some shoes. I did a lot of {useless} research this morning to figure out what type of shoe he should be wearing. If you are thinking I have too much free time, I don't. I was supposed to be doing one of the 15 things on my to do list. Anyway, I found all this info about shoes for new walkers. These great "new walker" shoes supposedly offer more support than pre-walker shoes but not so much support that they are too heavy (causing kids to trip when they are first learning to walk). Since Micah is not quite walking but getting so close, I was so excited about getting him these "new walker" shoes. So, I go to one place that doesn't have what I'm looking for and then I go to the mall to Stride Rite. They have "new walker" shoes and a sales person who is very knowledgable about kids shoes (since apparently there is a lot to know on this subject). So, I pick out a shoe for Micah and the girl goes to measure his foot. My poor child with clown feet. He is a 1 year old that wears a size 6. The "new walker" shoes don't even come in his size! So I went home without any shoes.

David wears a size 13 so I guess he is just taking after his daddy!

  1. oh my goodness... lily just now wears a 61/2. i guess that means he's going to be super tall.
you should try 'see kai run'... we got those for lily's first walker shoes and then stuck with them. her size 6 pair was just as flexible and soft as her first pair.
