Procrastination at its best...

I initially started this little project instead of packing (which I so desperately NEED to be doing). Then, it was a bit trickier than I thought so my genius friend Sarah (who gave me the idea to do it in the first place) had to come over and help me-- really it was just a ploy to get her and her hubby and little one to drive all the way out to our house from theirs. We had a super fun evening with pizza, wine, and truffles (no I didn't partake in the wine)... oh and making shirts (or onesies in Sarah's case):

I wanted to make him a cute little turkey shirt but then remembered that the big game is on Thanksgiving so he will have to sport his colors.

Close-up... I promise that isn't Texas burnt orange, it is more of a Tennessee orange which is fine because we don't play them.

I think this one is self explanatory

Don't you dare tell me the polka dots are girly

I wish I had gotten a picture of Micah with Elizabeth, their 4 month old. I think it was love at first sight! Who says arranged marriages are a thing of that past?

If you want instructions on how to make your own super cute little applique shirt or onesie, Sarah posted instructions on her blog (click here).

  1. He is one Aggielicious Turkey! He turned out so cute, Mamacita! Next time you don't have to fake like you can't do arts and crafts on your own. You can just ask us to come over. ;) And next time we'll be smart mommies and keep our cameras at the ready, so we can start our collection of photos to display at Micah and Elizabeth's rehearsal dinner!
