8 Weeks

I know that it has been awhile since I last posted, it has been a rough couple of weeks. We have been trying lots of different things to help Laurel's reflux and we'd have one good day and then a few bad days/nights and repeat the cycle all over again. We think that we finally have a handle on it, though so that is great news. She has had a great few days and nights so we see a light at the end of the tunnel! It is so sad when we realize that she really is such a happy and easy going baby, she has just been in pain! We took her in for her 2 month check up today and she did GREAT! Here are her stats:

Height: 22 3/4 inches (55%)
Weight: 10 lbs 1 oz (25%)

She is growing a ton and isn't our tiny newborn anymore. She has gained a pound since we went in to talk about her reflux a week ago! Now that we seem to have a handle on the reflux, Laurel is such a great eater and sleeper. She is taking 3-4 naps a day and we have just started transitioning her to formula. She isn't quite sleeping through the night but she is giving us 7-8 hours straight consistently. She is very stingy with her smiles but our pediatrician reassured me today that that is only because she hasn't had much to smile about for the last couple of weeks. I am hoping to get more smiles out of her now that the medicine is working. Here are some recent pics of her:
