So Laurel did not just start smiling this weekend, I have just not been able to get her to smile for the camera. I can't tell you how many times I've dressed her up, put a bow on her head, and worked to get a smile... every time I got nothing. Finally, we got one this weekend! She is still pretty stingy with them but this is my fave of the pics we got this weekend:

She was probably so happy because we were about to go to her friend Elizabeth's birthday party. She had a blast there... her big brother, not so much. He has had some kind of virus the past few days but we thought he was better on Saturday. He made it very clear that he was not feeling well at all
Instead of swimming, playing, and splashing, he chose to cuddle with Cason. I have to give Cason credit for his persistence with the fussy monster. It definitely paid off because Micah rarely cuddles with anyone!

he loves that he is called the "baby whisperer" He would love to taker her home.
