Hi my name is Micah...

and I am 2 1/2 years old today! Can you believe it? I have grown up and changed quite a bit in the last 6 months, mommy and daddy are very proud of me!

I love music, puzzles, and reading books. These are probably my favorite hobbies right now. I also enjoy coloring and playing choo choos. My favorite music to listen to is Veggie Tales... I really like that crazy cucumber Larry, especially when he is all dressed up as Larry Boy on the Veggie Tales movie.

I know all of my letters and their sounds. I can even sound out 3 letter words (dog, nat, etc.) I can also say my whole alphabet in order. I can count to 11 and sometimes 14, know all of my colors, and my shapes, too. I think this is because my mommy was an elementary school teacher so she is a little obsessed with teaching me new things and asking me questions.

My vocabulary has also expanded tons. I like to speak in long sentences and can almost always get my point across to mommy and daddy. They like this very much because then I don't get frustrated as often. I love to sing with mommy and daddy, too. My favorite song to sing is Old McDonald had a farm. I can sing the whole thing! I only leave a few words out.

I am very mischievous and definitely have a mind of my own. Mommy says I am stubborn but I don't know what that means, I just know that I get spankings and I don't like them very much at all. They are a lot worse from Dad, though, mom is kind of weak.

Just last week, I gave mom a taste of my mischief when she let me play outside while she unloaded groceries. When she came to get me, she couldn't find me! hehe I was hiding.

Then, she spotted my legs

I was pretty sure she still couldn't see me

Then, once she found me, I showed her something that had caught my interest... her eyes got real big and she seemed concerned but I'm not sure why

Then she discovered that I was stuck in the mud (this is Riley's hole that she has dug and lays in when mom makes her go outside during the day) So she was a super nice mom and helped me out

See... pretty mischievous!

Potty training? No, thanks. I'll get to that when I'm ready. I'll go tee tee in the potty only if I want 2 jelly beans really really bad.

I sleep in my big boy bed every night like a champ. If I stay in bed, I get a sticker! How cool is that? After I have gotten 8 stickers, I get a present! So, of course I stay in bed! In the morning, I get up and knock on my door to let mommy and daddy know I am awake, even if it is 6 am. See, they put a micah-proof doorknob inside my room so I can't get out on my own. Don't worry, Dr. T gave us the idea so she said it is ok.

Speaking of things that I like... Oh man do I love those Aggies. If mommy would let me wear my Aggie jersey everyday, I would. Sometimes I put it on backwards to be silly but every time I wear it, I like to look at myself in the mirror and marvel at the beautiful maroon and white.

I love my little sister too, most of the time. When she cries, it is a little annoying so I just give her her paci, whether she wants it or not. I also like to make her roll over when she is playing on the floor. Mommy says she needs to learn on her own but I think it's fun to roll her myself.

I also really love my mommy and daddy and love to cuddle with them. Every night when we say prayers, I thank Jesus for mommy, daddy, Laurel, and whoever else is on my mind that day. Most of the time I like to pray for Miss Glendy.

Mommy keeps saying that she can't believe how big I am getting but I think that's silly, I'm still only 2!
