Last day of Preschool

I am so proud that my Micah Man just finished his first year of preschool! Tuesday was his last day so his class had a picnic in the classroom (was supposed to be on playground but it was raining) followed by singing songs from the school year for all the parents. The teacher in me LOVES seeing him so comfortable in his classroom. It was so sweet to see him interacting with his little classmates and giving his teacher hugs. We absolutely love his school and are thrilled that he will be back there in the fall for Pre-K. This has been such a great year for him. Micah is my expectations child and he thrives in a structured atmosphere. I feel like he has changed and grown up so much since starting school!

He is going to miss his teachers so much over the summer. He loved Miss Duffy (pretty sure she is his first crush) and Miss Ruth!

His best bud at school is Cade, he is also a buddy from church so they play together a lot! On his end of year report it said that "Micah likes to play with Cade and Chassidy" and on Cade's it said "Micah and Gweny" so they each have a girlfriend that they also like to play with. We said with Cade and his mom for the picnic.

Afterwards we moved into the main room of the school and the kids showed us all of the songs they learn throughout the year. 

I am so proud of my big boy!

His teacher gave us a binder with an interview with him from the beginning of the year and then the same interview at the end of the year. It is so interesting to see how much he has developed and changed in one short year! I won't type out the whole thing but here are my favorite 3 answers from the most recent interview:

End: "Wrestle with my daddy"

End: "The song that my mommy sings, the Ariel song" (Oh dear...)
