This week for our field trip, we headed out to Mimi and Bubba's to swim! We were so sad that last minute, Mimi had to head out of town so she couldn't play with us. Micah has been telling his buddy Archer about Mimi and Bubba's house for a long time so we had them come with us! As I was pulling into a parking lot to meet up with Tiffany, I ever so gently hit a curb and happened to blow my tire out. That was lovely. Well we certainly weren't going to let that snaffoo spoil our day. I called David, because I don't have a clue how to fix a flat. Little did I know that Tiff does! She did the whole thing almost completely by herself (I of course assisted). We just needed a little help with loosening the bolts. Since David wasn't there yet we just asked a complete stranger in the parking lot who definitely knew how to help but was not excited about it until he felt bad for us because of all of the kids whining in the cars. By the time David pulled up, the spare was on! Then my sweet hubby swapped out carseats so that we could take his car to Kingwood and he went and got a new tire.
Once we got there, the kids swam all morning and then napped all afternoon! Thanks, Bubba for being such a great host, we had a blast!
