Last week for our field trip, Mimi joined us and we headed to the Aquarium! The kids have been there a couple of times but I never have. I always wanted to be a marine biologist growing up (random I know) so places like this are just as much fun for me as they are the kids. We started with the shark voyage train ride:
Laurel was terrified before it even started
My little smarty pants pulled this out of his pocket as the ride started. He remembered being scared last time and didn't want to get scared again, but Spider Man doesn't get scared so he was in good shape!
I tried to get a picture with both kids, but, surprise surprise, Laurel was afraid to sit on this shark bench.
... as we were about to leave, Mimi let the kids each pick one thing from the gift shop. This was Laurel's choice...
Yep, a shark hat. How random is that? She wears it every day.
