Christmas in Kingwood

We had such a fun Christmas this year that seemed to last days and days! It started in Kingwood the weekend before Christmas. We headed out there on Friday night and woke up Saturday to have "Christmas morning". We were all (the kids especially) super spoiled! Since Connor and Alex (or Connie and Al Pal as the kids call them) are still kids, the sat on the stairs with the little ones (in David's family, you are a kid until you have a kid) before going to find their goodies...

From her aunts and uncles, Laurel got the American Girl puppy, Coconut with her carrying bag and supplies to take care of her. She is in love.
We got Wyatt the Peek-A-Boo Bear which I think the adults found more entertaining than the kids.
Laurel got a dollhouse from Mimi and Bubba! She loves playing with it in her room.
Connie and Al Pal got Micah a Betta fish whom he has fondly named Nemo. Being the Aggies that we are, we really tried to get him to name him Johnny Betta (he is maroon) but he would not oblige. I had no idea how excited he would be, he loves his fish and has already been taking such great care of him. He loves the responsibility and does a great job feeding him every day.
After the present opening extravaganza, the kids took naps and the adults sat down for a super yummy "Christmas Dinner"... oh how I love having multiple Christmas celebrations! This one was the perfect way to start off our holidays!
