Jet Setting...

After the BIG move to Houston, we left our home in boxes and packed up to go to Sheffield, England for an amazing week of fellowship and learning. We went with another couple we will be doing ministry with, Brian and Erin (pictured below), for a conference at St. Thomas Church.


We spent the week in various seminars, enjoying the English countryside (pictured below), and learning from our host family. We enjoyed tea and scones, the pub culture with fish and chips included (yum!), and we took in a few bar-b-ques. Ally especially enjoyed the accents and learning some of the different words (special thanks to Samuel and Bethany for that). Overall, the experience was incredibly valuable to the ministry that we will be doing here in Houston. We will miss the friends that we made over our short time there.

Now back, the unpacking, organizing, and David's favorite part, the decorating begins! Pictures of the house soon to come!
