I'm still working on getting a good video of Micah crawling, but I got some super cute pics of it this weekend. He is still figuring it out, so he only crawls in spurts, but he definitely gets where he needs to go, especially when he is after something in particular. Our life is forever changed. His favorite thing to do it pull up, mainly on his knees, sometimes all the way to his feet. This means he does A LOT of falling, bumping his head, and face planting into anything and everything. It is horrible to watch when I can't catch him but I am learning that I have a boy and boys don't mind the bumps and bruises nearly as much as their mommies do. Since David isn't around the daredevil all day, he is having to learn this, too. I would even venture to say that right now, he is the more protective of the two of us. Here is our guy in action:
Must get to cable box (and pull it out)... soooo tired from all this work!
Yes he LOVES to crawl as fast as he can to the cable box and pull it out... not good. He pulls up the middle shelf of the console under the tv and then goes for it. He even face planted onto the lower shelf (the one his hand is on in the picture below). It was terrible. That would explain why he resembles Rudolf in the two pictures in the grass. That's probably the worst injury we've had so far.

I remember putting Jacob in a crawling contest when he was about that size. He worked so hard, about half way down the lane, he decided to spread out and take a nap!!
