A few days after Christmas, we left for our "home away from home"... Steamboat. We are so blessed to have parents who both have partial ownership of condos up there and it just so happens that they are at the same place. We went this time with David's whole family. After this trip, I am learning more and more what it is like to live with boys. Between the "alti-tooties" as Connor calls them and the messiness, I have a lot to learn on how to handle boys! We had a blast playing games (Settlers of Catan... so addicting), skiing, EATING, hot tubbing, and relaxing. David was in much need of a vacation and some time to relax... he definitely got both. Micah still doesn't really like the snow, but we put him in his snowsuit nonetheless.

Good luck on your marathon run...that is intense and takes much discipline. I don't care if you walk or crawl across that finish line. Do it with your head held high and know that I'll be at your back yelling, "whoo-hoo...you go girl...yes!"
