Dog sledding

One of the many fun things we got to do while in Steamboat was go dog sledding. It was definitely a first for us and we had a blast. Bubba stayed back with Micah so that me, David, Uncle Kev, Aunt Audrey, Uncle Connor, and Mimi could go. We each got to take turns driving the sled which was harder than it looked. The dogs were hilarious... they LOVED pulling the sled. We spend most of the time trying to slow them down. Every time we would stop, they would start barking and jumping to start again. It made us miss our Mia because so many of the dogs looked just like her. Here are some pictures of our adventure:

Oh my gosh, wasn't dog-sledding almost the best thing ever? We did it in Alaska over the holidays and by the end Laura Jean and I were ready to dog-sled around Manhattan.

  2. WOW! How fun! We will definitely have to check that out the next time we are in Steamboat. I think we are going again in March. It looks like you had a great time! Great pictures! :)
