First Day of School...

... ok so it isn't really school, it is Mother's Day Out, but I am going to call it school because it is fun for Micah and I want him to think school is this fun. Anyway, seems like lots of people are doing first day of school posts so I am going to join in. Micah had his first day of MDO today and I was shocked at how well he did. He walked right in and turned around and waved to me and said "bye bye". Seriously? Just like that? It seems like he grew up overnight! I didn't have a chance to feel emotional about it because I was so irritated at the 45 minutes of traffic I sat in to get him there. He is in a program at our church which was not a great idea on my part as long as we live on the opposite side of town. So, today was his first and last day with that program and next week he'll start one out closer to us. That just makes the most sense until we move (if our house ever sells... that is another story for another day). I hope that he does as good next week as he did today. Now I'm so curious to see if they were able to get him to take a nap... doubtful. Here are some pictures of him before we left... his first day of school ever:

I hope he always smiles this big on the first day of school!

I couldn't get a picture without him moving or looking down

Let's go!

How cute is this backpack? He screamed when I made him take it off to put him in his carseat

  2. he is too cute with his backpack! we have to drive 30 minutes to Lily's MDO... and it stinks.

I'm so glad that he just went right in with no trouble. What a nice feeling that must be!
