Please tell me that you know what Elf on the shelf is? It is the cutest little book that comes with your very own elf. Micah has names ours "David the elf". He talks about him a lot and loves finding him in the morning. See, David the elf is at our house until Christmas so that he can watch Micah and tell Santa if he is being a good little boy. David the elf flies back to the North Pole every night to give his report to Santa. Thus, David the elf is in a new place every morning. I forget every night to move him. I really don't know why it is so hard to remember but if it was up to me, that elf would never move. Good thing David (the dad) remembers every day! If you read the story, it talks about how you can't touch the elf or he might lose his magic. If he loses his magic he can't get back to the North Pole to report to Santa! Micah is still having a hard time with the whole no touching thing. So, we tend to put him somewhere out of reach.
That doesn't stop Micah... he had no idea I was watching
He still couldn't reach, though.
If you have a kid that is old enough to understand, go get yourself an elf on the shelf!
