You better watch out, you better not cry...

... better not pout I'm telling you why, SANTA CLAUS is coming to town!

In fact, Santa Claus made an extra special visit to the mall today and Micah and Laurel got to meet him!

First of all, is is just my kids or do Santa pictures always look this good?

That's what I thought. But, we still insist on taking them every year to sit on the lap of a stranger, even though the pictures never turn out as you think they will. Better luck next year, right?

Micah was so super excited to meet Santa but completely froze when he got up close. Star struck, I suppose. Laurel on the other hand just thought that Santa was the greatest thing ever. She was giggly and happy the entire time she was on his lap. I do have to say that this particular Santa was the nicest mall Santa I have ever seen. He asked Micah what he wanted... Micah said "cookies" (easy enough) and then he said "ok, Santa is going to do the best he can and don't forget that Santa loves you." How sweet is that?

Even though the signs said not to, I pulled my camera out, too.

We went with Micah's best bud, Archer, and his mom and little brother Ashton. I think Micah's favorite part was running around with Archer while we waited in line. I think they are sharing raisins in this picture.

My little lady... it amazes me how flexible she is about her schedule and naps. Here she is completely missing her morning nap and happy as can be. She fell asleep in her stroller just a few minutes later.
