When summer slows down...

This is my phrase of the season. I have found myself saying this almost everyday. The only problem is that August started today and summer never slowed down! I really thought that over the summer, we wouldn't have near as much stuff on the calendar and many many more days just hanging out at home but it has been the opposite.

How has your summer been? Are you busier now than you were in the spring? Do you feel like the days are slipping away? Or do you prefer that? I feel like I blinked and it was summer and I blinked again and it is almost over. I hate it when that happens. However, I am delighted that somewhere in our near future (come on September, I am holding out for you), the temps will not be in the 100's. I'd be happy with the 80's at this point.
