Swim Lessons Round 2/4

Here comes summer which means Miss Glendy time! This is Micah's 4th summer with Miss Glendy and Laurel's 2nd. She also taught David and his brothers many years ago. You can click on "swim lessons" on the sidebar to see years past. We just love Miss Glendy and love the way she has loved on and taught our kids for the past 4 years. Micah probably didn't even need lessons this year and he definitely won't need them next year so I am a little sad that this was his last summer with her. Micah is such a little fish and swims so confidently. Laurel knows what to do if she falls in. :) We'll give her a couple more years before she reaches the little fish status. Our lessons were from 1:30-2:30 last week which is their nap time so I wasn't sure how the would do but I could not be more proud of how both of them did. Scroll to the bottom to see the video from this year!

Not sure when to retire this swimsuit but he has worn it for the past 4 years and every year when he puts it on it still fits. How strange is that?

The little lady screamed through her lessons on the first 2 days and then we figured out that if we could distract her, she wouldn't cry and would do what she was supposed to. So, she spent the next 3 days reciting her abc's and singing songs. It was so funny and way better than the tearful "HUG ME!" and "GO TO SIDE" and "I'M DONE!!!!" we heard for the first 2 days. 

She wasn't crazy about Miss Glendy while she was in the water but she loved her as long as she wasn't making her swim. She even asks to pray for her every night right now!
