Wedding post part 1! We had such a fun weekend last weekend in San Antonio celebrating Connor and Alex getting married! We have really enjoyed getting to know Alex's family and have been so excited about this special day for months!
We left Houston early on Friday morning for the drive to San Antonio. Laurel has never been in a car for longer than it takes to get to College Station (which is not even an hour and a half) so I had packed a car full of things to entertain them. My mom offered to come with us to help out so with her in the back with the kids it was the easiest car ride ever! Not a single meltdown or complaint and we got to SA in record time with only one short potty stop.
First up was the Bridesmaids Luncheon. David's aunts and Nanna did such a wonderful job, everything was so beautifully done and we had a whole private room to ourselves.

A short few hours later it was rehearsal time...
... and then we walked over to Acenar for the rehearsal dinner
The kids weren't too big of fans of walking in the heat and then walking into a large room full of people. I think it had just been a long day for them and they were done. Good thing we had our Suzu with us! She was a HUGE help all weekend long.

This pretty much sums up Micah Man's attitude about the rehearsal dinner. Good thing he took a great nap and had a great attitude the next day! He was an all star as a ring bearer... wedding day post is up next!
