Warrior Prince Academy

Last week, our church hosted Royal Purpose Ministries' Warrior Prince Academy and Princess Prep School. Laurel wasn't old enough to go to the Princess Prep School but Micah Man spent the week learning how to be a Warrior Prince. This is such a neat ministry and such an awesome program. I hope that Micah gets to do it again next year! He had a few buddies from school and church in there so he ran right in every day without hesitation. He is a man of few words so he didn't tell me much about it other than it was fun and something about being a "mighty mighty warrior prince" and then when he thought I wasn't listening, I heard him go through the entire Warrior Prince chant where he talked about being a mighty man and never being defeated. On Friday (the last day), they had a special little graduation program where they got to show off some of the things they had learned. It was so cute!

They taught them the Pledge of Allegiance and they practiced it each day

They all get on their knees for the Warrior Prayer

Once he saw me on the front row, he clammed up a little bit so I couldn't get a happy picture until we got home. Here he is with the sharp wooden sword he brought home today. :)

I feel so blessed to be a part of a church that supports ministries like this one that encourage and train up leaders from an early age!
