David participated in Celebration through our church for the 4th year this year. It has really become one of the highlights of his year and he enjoys being a part of it more year after year. There are a lot of practices and it is a big time commitment (especially the week of the show) and even though me and the kids miss him, it is so worth it for him to get to be a part of such an amazing ministry. He has been a wise man for the past 3 years and this year, he was Joseph. He did such a great job! We went twice (once with my family and once with David's) and it was the best it's ever been! Micah slept through the majority of the first performance we went to but he made sure to stay awake for the next one so that he could see Page, the huge elephant. If you have never been and you live or visit Houston in the beginning of December, I HIGHLY recommend coming to Celebration! I already can't wait until next year!
Thursday night with my Suzu and Teddy, Nat, Dan and Sadie:
Saturday night with Mimi, Bubba, Connor, Alex, Nanna and Kev:

I am so so proud of my hubby! The highlight of the whole experience for him was a 90 year old woman coming up to him after one of the performances and grabbing his hands and telling him "I haven't prayed a day in my life but I just did and I am going to get to see Him soon." WOW. I have no words except to reiteriate that Celebration is an amazing experience, show, ministry, etc and if you have never been, you should go. The choir, orchestra, cast and crew put so much time and energy into it for the sole purpose of sharing the true story of Christmas. It is just amazing!
After surviving so many evenings without David while he was at rehearsals or performances, the kids and I treated ourselves to frozen yogurt!
