Kid's Bathroom Re-Do

As if the holidays aren't busy enough, we decided to remodel the kid's bathroom in the midst of them! I have been saving from my Little Bears work so that we could re-do this bathroom and I am so glad I did! The only part of the bathroom that was in need of major work was the tub area. It still had the original tub, fixtures and lovely lime green tile as well as a built in step thing that took up a large portion of the bathroom. I wish I had a picture of the inside of the tub and I thought I did but I don't... you can still see that green tile peeking out though. When we bought the house, we put in the granite counter top and painted the bathroom but it still needed some work. See before:

We painted the walls a more pale sage green instead of the bright leaf green and got a new shower curtain and shelf.

We removed the big mirror and hung oval mirrors

 and best of all, we replaced all of the tile with slate, replaced the fixtures and refinished the tub! We toyed with the idea of getting a new tub but the original tub is a great, cast iron tub that was still in good condition. I'm so happy with how the bathroom turned out! This being the only tub in our house, I will actually go and take baths in there now. :)
