Swim Lessons Year 5

It's hard to believe that this is our 5th year taking swim lessons from Miss Glendy  We started the summer after Micah turned 1 and here we are 5 years later. Micah officially graduated last year because he is pretty much a fish in the water so last week was all about Laurel. Micah did NOT handle this very well, mainly because he couldn't stand being so close to a pool but not being allowed to get in it. The first day, he wore his swim suit so he could jump in and show Miss Glendy what a good swimmer he is and she was so proud of him! I could not believe how good Laurel did throughout the week. She really got to move past survival training and learn how to swim this year. She did not want to be called a fish because "that is for boys" so she is a self proclaimed mermaid. I am so proud of how hard she worked and of what a good little swimmer she is now. I cannot wait for many days at the pool this summer!

As always, we LOVE Miss Glendy and trust and recommend her fully! Thanks to her, our little ones really are water babies! Love the last picture of Miss Glendy with all of her swimmers (David included). Here is a video of the week:
