Swim Lessons Round 3

Last week, both of the kids had swim lessons. We, of course, used Miss Glendy for our 3rd year in a row. Micah did so great, we are so proud of him. By the end of the week, he could swim on his tummy and then flip back to his back! Laurel did NOT enjoy her first year of swim lessons at all. She mouthed off to Miss Glendy just like Micah did on his first year except she screamed a lot more than he did. She is also quite the kicker. Miss Glendy says that she is going to be our swimmer... we'll see!

Swimming on Day 1

This was Micah's face up until he got in the pool and then he was fine. He acted like he hated it before but he never fought to get in his swim suit and he always walked right up to Miss Glendy and hopped in the pool on his own.

If Miss Glendy came within a foot of Laurel all week, she was screaming. Perhaps next year she'll warm up to her a little bit?

As always, I highly recommend Miss Glendy. She taught David and his brothers to swim when they were little so she has quite a bit of experience and really knows what she is doing! I can only imagine how many lives she has saved. She still has spots open so it is not too late to get in this summer!
