Thanks mold!

I know, I should never be glad to have something as gross as mold BUT our half bath looks 10x better thanks to it! Our half bath is one of the only rooms (if not the only room) in our house that we haven't touched. Let's be honest, it was ugly. Really ugly. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I noticed a funky smell in there. At first, I thought it was just musty old house bathroom smell but it started getting worse. One day I looked under the sink and was horrified. I'll spare you the picture. Let's just say LOTS of mildew and a good bit of mold. We talked to a few different people and in the end, ripped the entire vanity out, including the wall behind and adjacent to it. We bought a new vanity to fill the spot and now we have a whole new bathroom!

So, even though mold is gross and one should never wish for it because I hear it can take over your house and cause really big problems, in our case, I have to say thanks, mold!
