Steamboat

On New Years Eve, the kids and I headed to Steamboat with David's family. David joined us the following day. As always, we had such a fun trip relaxing in the mountains with everyone!

Mountain hot chocolate (no idea what they do but it is always better on the mountain- maybe because I am defrosting while drinking it)...

Our trip also included Micah's first ski school experience. It ended much like my first ski school experience when I was 6. We got a call around 1:30 in the afternoon (pickup is at 3) telling us that Micah refused to go out on the slopes after lunch and we needed to come get him. They said he did great skiing in the morning but it went downhill from there starting with his refusal to eat the spaghetti and meatballs they served for lunch. Oh Micah.
