Hi my name is Micah...

... and I am 4 1/2 today! Can you believe it? Mommy sure can't. She cried like a baby just dropping of my forms for Pre-K and I'm not even starting for a few more weeks! She says she just can't believe how fast I am growing up.

I have changed a bunch since turning 4 in February. Did you hear that I get to start Pre-K in just a couple of weeks?!? I am so excited and can't wait to be back at Yellow School. I am going to go Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday but it's no big deal because I am only going to be there for the mornings and then I get to come home for lunch and naps. My mommy is still holding on to my naps but I'm pretty sure I am about to be done with that whole nap nonsense. I am so ready for Pre-K, I have even been working on reading! I love to practice with sounding out the short words in my early reader books.

I am really good at a lot of things. I am a super fast swimmer! My mommy and daddy call me a little fish because they can't keep me out of the pool! I love to go down slides, dive off diving boards and dive for all of my swim toys at the bottom of the pool. 

Want to know what else I am good at? Dancing. I LOVE to dance. I didn't even know about my crazy dancing talent until I was in my Uncle Connor's wedding as the ring bear. This is where I met my one true love, Ashlyn. She was the flower girl. At the reception, we danced the night away! 

I am also really good at climbing. I wish that my house had a good climbing tree but no big deal, since it doesn't, I really like to scare my mommy by climbing all over my fort. I climb up the slide, over the roof and on top of my swing set. My mommy gets all upset when I do this but I don't know why, I am just being a boy! 

Guess what? That isn't even all I am good at! I am an awesome driver, too! Who needs parents anyway? I can drive myself! I love to tow my wagon and take my sister all over the neighborhood. Our favorite thing to do is pick up our cousin, Sadie, and go to my favorite place, the POOL!

Speaking of Sadie, I sure do love my cousin. I love to give her hugs and cuddles. Having cousins is the best. I cannot wait until baby Wyatt gets here in September. I ask mommy every day if he is out of Ya-Ya's tummy yet. 

I also love all of the doggies in our family. My favorite right now is Noel, my Suzu's dog. I love it when she curls up on my lap. Mommy says I am a friend to the animals just like my daddy. Except that I do not let bugs go outside like he does. Gross. I squish them dead. 

I am still very obsessed with super heroes. I love to change clothes all day long into my super hero outfits. I am even in super hero training with some fellow supers at the place where I used to do gymnastics. We get to learn how to fly and do obstacle courses so that if we need to save the world, we are ready!

I am becoming such a big boy that Bubba has started teaching me how to fish! Both my Bubba and Teddy and my Uncle Kev and Connor love to fish so I can't wait until I am a little bit bigger so I can go with them. For now, I will just practice casting and reeling in Mimi and Bubba's pool. 

I am super responsible these days. I even have my own responsibility chart that my mommy made me. I get to fill it out every day and it is easy to read because it has pictures instead of words! In the morning, my jobs are to get dressed, brush my teeth and make my bed. I feel so proud of myself after I have made my bed and always run to tell my mommy to come look. After dinner, my jobs are to clean up toys, feed Riley and brush my teeth before bed. Since my friend Mr. Justin gave me my very own Kids Sonicare, I am kind of obsessed with brushing my teeth. Who knew it could be so fun?

Since I've told you all of the things I am really good at, how about a few things that I'm not so great at? I'm not so great at obeying these days because I really really hate being told that I am not the boss. It makes me so mad. I finally figured out that there is nothing I can do about mommy and daddy being the boss of me so I just tell them that I am the boss of my toys and there is nothing they can say to that. Another thing I am not so great at- potty talk. This makes my mommy crazy but I think it is hilarious to look at a complete stranger and say "poo poo".  I have also gotten pretty sneaky and sometimes I tell lies to stay out of trouble. I always get caught though! I have got to figure out how mommy and daddy can read my mind. Another thing that drives my mommy crazy is how much I love to wear character t-shirts. Just as soon as she picks out my outfit I am changed into comfy clothes! Comfy clothes are my favorite. 

At the end of that day, after bath time with my Daddy and sister, my daddy either reads to us or tells us stories he has made up. It is my favorite when he tells us stories, I just can't help but listen to every word. Then we say prayers and sing a song or two before mommy comes in for my cuddles. Poor daddy, I tell him every night that Mommy is the best cuddler. My day is not complete until she's "tickled" my back and we've told each other "I love you to the moon and back". 

Mommy keeps saying she can't believe how big I am and how fast I am growing up but she is so silly, I  am still 4!
